I have also been having the same problem

I can, however, sign onto MSN Messanger itself, just not with Trillian.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled program twice- no fix.
Went through the Trillian support thread, but got absolutely no response.
rather frustrated.
Have read through this one as well, and tried listed fixes. – no fix

When i do manage to have it connect for 5 seconds, my buddies don’t show up and i cannot contact them.
when i take the connection off, it does not remove my buddies either. I’m not sure if that means anything or not
