DEARBORN, Mich.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–March 17, 2005–BuddyStream Technologies today announced the launching of its new Instant Messaging and Integration platform which enables wireless providers, corporations and integrators the ability to enable real-time presence and instant messaging to their offering. The new offering features connectors to some of the leading enterprise instant messaging applications on the market today, such as connectors to IBM Sametime, Novell, Microsoft Live Communication Server, Jabber, WiredRed, and others.
The Integration platform is not limited to only corporate IM connectors and offers other connectors to other services. Such connectors included are AIM, ICQ, MSN, YAHOO, IRC, POP3, IMAP, and many others. A full list of supported connectors can be viewed by visiting our website at http://www.buddystream.com/.
Mobile operators and enterprises alike may leverage the BuddyStream platform in enhancing their current offering. The platform includes the following modules: BuddyStream, BuddyBots, BuddyAlerts, BuddyContent and BuddyMail. The modules have been tailored and built from the ground up to integrate well with current infrastructure and regulations. Such examples include hooks which enable providers to perform billing, integration, compliance with HIPAA, SEC and NASDAQ requirements, directory support and encryption. The BuddyAlert and BuddyBot modules enable the delivery of real-time sensitive information and content to any of the supported connectors. Other specific connectors for alerts are available; such connectors include telephone alerts, fax alerts, and the Microsoft .NET alerts service.
