Thank god for Microsoft’s new Spyware system. I have it running all the time now, and when I tried to install this new messenger it went crazy stopping all the spyware from being installed. It was able to stop ALL but one, the dreaded 1-800-Search Assistant. At least that one can be easily removed. Be careful if you install this. I’m going back to Trillian.
I have the same experience, but with Pro. Anybody have any clues? I have observed it happening when Trillian starts, and when I come back from idle states.
I was digging aroundin Yahoo!’s registry settings and found the following servers that it connects to. I’ve tried them here at work, but still no luck connecting through Trillian. Maybe they’ll be useful to some of you out there. They were all set to use Port 5050. I tried them all on Port 80 to no avail.
