Oh, I definately want to see this ported as a Yahoo 8 plugin. Nick, perhaps you should ask the creator of HyperIM for help with the C++ code conversion? I'm sure he'd help you.

Accually, in Yahoo 8 Beta you can turn on logging and submit logs to Yahoo with a description of the problem(s) your having. I have a couple times involving the bug where display pictures don't upload or show.

Have you tryed creating a secondary name to test this with? It may be a server issue with your Yahoo ID.

It won't work probably. I allready tryed this the first night Yahoo 8 came out.

What I meant was that when I chat with people, in the IM window, it shows my real name from Yahoo's Account Profile rather than the nickname (or the account ID) as it should. They mixed up the Yahoo ID/nickname settings.

The only thing close to an “adblock” for Internet Explorer would probably be ad muncher.

Accually if your using the latest Yahoo 7. All you have to do is uninstall YIM and reinstall Yahoo Messenger.
