I’ve had no problems with my logitech. Although the audio converstation will cut out every once in a while or wont connect at all.

in most cases the echo is you hearing yourself on their speakers. Wether or not that’s your deal, who knows

I have the Quickcam 3000 and that works everywhere out of the box without any software installed. Logitech is pretty tight about making stuff work.
