Thanks for the info. So how can I fix this so all my buiddies have the same, normal default sound playing when they sign o nmand off? I think I understand what you’re saying, cause when that sn signs on and off (without me blocking or unblocking it) that sn still makes that weird “fast laughing” sound. However, I never assigned tyat specific sound to that specific screen name on my buddy list. I was hoping that the default sound would apply to all my buddies on my buddy list when wyhen they sign on and off. 80% of my buddy list has the normal sound, however 20% either have some “weird laughter” or another weird sound when they sign on. It’s very strange. Do they control what sound I hear when they sign on, or do control it? Can I set a specific sound to be played when I sign onto to other peoples buddy list?

I know you can go into your buddy list and set “alerts” to play speciifc sounds like a cash register opening if you assign that sound to a specific screen name, however none of my buddies on my buddy list have any alerts assigned to their sn’s. I double checked this.

Plus it wont let me block my own screen name like I use to on regular AIM 5.9. When I attempt to block my own scren name on AIM AD HACK, it does indeed say that I’m “blocked” , however my screen name still appears as online (without the red circle with the line thru it next to my sn indicating that im blocked) plus im allowed to send IM’s while im blocked, very weird.
