MemberUmmm…..I don’t really see much information on the site to help me setup the OSI. I need like a newbie guide or somethin. I got the “status.jar” file and uploaded it to my webspace…now what?
lazyturbo
MemberI did read that post, but unfortunately it was posted after this one. But it doesn’t matter, I’m not interested in visiting the site. I just wanted someone who has the “status.jar” file to send it to me, as stated in my previous post.

MemberYeah. If I have to right-click to get the menu, then that means I have to send my invitation to the other person and the other person has to send their invitation to me. So there isn’t a quick way to get connected to each other by webcam then.

MemberI’m using the Trillian Cordillera skin, and it doesnt seem to have the actions menu at the top of the window. It does when I switch to the Trillian Whistler skin. But I like the look of Cordillera better, is there a way to get the action menu to appear while I’m using the Cordillera skin?

MemberIs there a faster way to be able to send/receive video from another person in Trillian (Yahoo). Because I dont like having to send invitations to each other and accepting it from each other, takes too long, is there just a button to press in the message window or somethin?

MemberSo there is voice chat for Trillian (yahoo)?….where is it?….is it the “send chat invitation” function?

MemberI use ICQ and Trillian, and they both dont really support videoconferencing with audio and video. MSN 6 doesnt work on my computer, and I think I need Windows XP to be able to videoconference. Do previous versions of MSN support videoconferencing if i’m using Windows 98? What version?
I’m not sure why netmeeting no longer works, I can still connect to the other person, but we can only use the whiteboard. He is behind a firewall, but thats not the problem, because I’m not even sending video/audio (connection doesnt move). Even when I press it to send.

MemberI’m using Windows 98 and using Netmeeting 3.0. I don’t think that I have changed anything since the last time I used it.

MemberOh, because my Netmeeting no longer works for some reason. Is there a program that is as good as Netmeeting that isn’t integrated into an instant messenger, and not a trial version?
lazyturbo
MemberCan people using Netmeeting talk with people using Live Meeting?

MemberI agree with Magistyk. Rustedtight, if you have nothing that can help ladie_vennom, might as well not say anything at all. Your a moderator, so stop insulting people in forums, and try to actually help the people in these forums.
If Ad-aware doesnt work, worst case scenario is having to go into Regedit yourself and try to see what software doesnt belong. If you know that name of the company thats making the pop-ups, you can probably search for it in Regedit (ctrl+f)

MemberI can’t really find an option in Trillian for the Yahoo privacy settings to makme me show online on the indicator. I went to onlinestatus.org, but they just tell you to go to your Yahoo Profile to uncheck some box, which I had unchecked all along. What’s the specific option that I have to change in Trillian to be able to be viewed online on the yahoo online status indicator?
