is there any way at all i can avoid the rate limit or raise the limit somehow?

this is happening to me like crazy and it’s really getting annoying. i can’t look at more than a few away messages in a row before it tells me i hit the rate limit. any help would be greatly appreciated as i am getting quite frustrated.
