I have upgraded my MSN to 6.1 and the rtcdll.dll has gone back to version 4.2.4949.1001. I haven’t had chance to test audio and visual with anyone outside of my network yet. Like you said it is about time Microsoft fixed these gremlins out.

Just to let you know I have successfully had an Audio and Webcam conversation with my friend, thanks to all the advice I have received through this forum. Thanks again.

I am running Zone Alarm Pro, should I disable this before starting audio and webcam

:(I have followed all the RTCDLL.DLL instructions for MSN 6 as has my friend but still no joy. I have Win 2000 and my friend Win 98 SE. We have both done the audio tuning wizard and have no trouble with that, so anyone got any other suggestions???
