MemberIt’s nice to see so many people saying Johnny Depp.
I personally love him too, along with:
– Ed Norton
– Brad Pitt
– Nick Cage (is good)
– Steve Buscemi (is awesome)
– Adam Sandler (isn’t on here for great acting, though he was good in punch drunk love, but he’s good at being silly, and making weird-ass faces)
– Humphrey Boghart (oh come on guys 🙂God Why can’t I think of the rest? There’s probably some really obvious one I want but can’t think of…

Also, check your task manager for anything suspicious.
No it’s not a restricted account.
It doesn’t really make any sense. I pretty sure it’s my crappy computer though, because it was working fine, and then suddenly it started acting weird, and my computer has caused that in a few other programs. But running virus scans and scanning disk normally fixed those problems.Yeah I can’t figure out what’s wrong either. I just finished lots of tests and cleaning of my computer today… So I might just try to reinstall it again.
Thanks for the help. If you think of anything else, I’m all ears 😀

No…I was only saying my computer to clarify that it doesn’t save anything no matter what I do.
Closing AIM and restarting it or shutting down my computer and restarting doesn’t make any difference. Logging off and then onto AIM again doesn’t make a difference. It just acts like I’ve never used the program at all before, no matter how many times I start it, or my computer. It does all the things AIM will do when you first install it and run if the first time, only it does that every single time.

MemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by f0rbezYour settings are only saved to the computer youre using. If you delete your screen name from the sign in list, use aim on another computer, or use aim on another logon, that would be the cause. Are you doing any of these? Also make sure that you aren’t running any kind of system cleaning programs such as Windows Washer. I’ve had several cases of losing my settings due to their cleaning.
DeadAIM won’t fix what your experiencing either. It’ll just add more features.
No, I didn’t do any of those things. As far as I can tell, it just started acting screwy (which never surprises me with programs on my computer).I deleted all the old information for the old AIM, and then reinstalled it.
But I’m not complaining that they’re not automatically just there now that I reinstalled it. It’s that whenever I change them and save them on my computer, the next time I log on on my computer, under the same name, none of the changes are remembered.
The only programs I use that might be remotely similar are AVG virus scanner and Ad-aware 6.0
