Evevrything else works fine and java is enabled.have unistalled and installed
over and over and deleted folder in program files.any help would be appreciated.THANK YOU!!are you sure you have scripting enabled in Internet explorer?
>>> Tools/Security Tab/Click the Internet (globe) icon and click the Custom Level button / Scroll down to Scripting. Enable the following: Active scripting-allow paste operations via script/Scripting of Java applets are all enabled
then restart messenger.
Btw-is this problem widespread(ie-all your friends)or is it just one person on your friends list-(that you can’t see their text or message)? You could be lagging/or possibly infected with spyware.
Hard to know, worth running a spyware scanner either way.

MemberWhile this isnt a messenger add on,nor does it work with yahoo messenger,I figured I’d add it to the list.
Its a voice chat guard which works with yahelite, and stops voice laggers from lagging users off voice.

It’s free btw,but the creator does ask for paypal donations.

I used most of the programs on the link above but some of them are patched I think.I really like yaheek but I dunno if that program still works cause I was always getting kicked off mic.
I also like ytunnel http://www.ytunnelpro.com cause of the ad blocker and iggy bin and loads of other usefull things like the auto pm reject and invite blocker aswell. And that you could save all blocked pm’s and reply whenever you wanted to.
But the best client I think is yahelite and the hardest to boot it seems. And there’s loads and loads of options on that client.
One last program would be cookie studio cause it grabbs your cookie from username and password and gives you your account information. But I can’t find a link that would be acceptable to post here cause most of the sites hosting it are booter sites.

MemberI forgot to add that you right click on a user ID on your friends list and choose stealth settings and click online if it isnt clicked.U probably know all this already.

Memberthis may seem like a stupid answer but are you sure you have yourself non stealthed to people on your list.even if you are online(available)on your display status you can still be stealthed to other people on your list.Same thing might apply to your friends aswell, they may be stealthed to you and not realise it.
On another note it may be your yahoo account or yahoo servers.I have noticed sometimes that when I log off on my account I still show up as online even thought I’m logged out.One way I fixed this was to reset my account info and then log off.I don’t know if that will work in your case but it did in mine.By doing that I think the server picked a change on the account and then registered the loggoff.
Other than all that you could email yahoo and explain the problem.
dunno if any of that helps but it’s just from my own experiences.
