Well I can’t believe your asking me why its important to me. You think its ok for anyone to just be able to add you to their list? If its someone I’ve deleted I do NOT wish for them to be able to turn right around and add me back again.
As I stated before , I was able to add my daughter without it asking her , therefore I am able to see when she is online, putting it plainly if someone is harassing you or bothering you and you delete them , they can turn right around and add you back and somehow you think this isn’t of importance. Yes, I’ve got both messengers set to only people who are on my list can im me. In actuality If I decide to change this to block the people below it changes only users on my list can im me. Letting people add me without asking me. Its one or the other.
And I wanted to know because as I’ve mentioned I have a daughter, I do not want people adding her finding out she is on and then harassing her with another screen name. Not that you NEEDED to know WHY I wanted this information but there you have it.
Oh and no its Not how other messengers work, Yahoo asks your consent. Not sure about msn.
