i got same problem and my tempoary fix was to install another browser “mozilla firefox” which allowed me to log into hotmail and net.passport but ‘internet explorer’ keeps giving error code 0x1000303 username does not exist or password is incorrect. I know that my service is fine because I can access it through mozilla with no problem. I sure would like a way to get windows updates. does any one know how to uninstall internet explorer? i’ve tried to upgrade to ver.6.0 but it won’t install. really fustrating!
