ok – this is all fascinating to me … as a “rookie” in this game of cat-n-mouse called chat, my wife tells me that she KNOWS when i have followed her into a room in a “traveling” nic (one that i use for better anonymity) – does she have a program of some sort (someone sed an IP “sniffer”) that shows me even tho i log into yahell (messenger) “invisible?” this is all new to me, and i really want to know.
also – does the y!Tunnel program really block comeone’s chances of “seeing” your IP?
also – someone said that on dial up (me) your IP changes each time you go online. i thot that your IP was automatically a part of the programming of your hard drive – an internal registration, as it were …
