Can’t you run yahoo pager along with another client at the same time? Like yah elite, cheeta chat or any others? I haven’t every really messed with this much, is it possible to use messenger along with trillian at the same time? One messenger is plenty for me. If you are wanting to mess with your friends, just add an alias onto your main id, and switch onto it, is another way to use multiple ids.
You may be interested in giving Trillian a go.
You can either set up various Yahoo accounts on Trillian simutaneously, or run Trillian and Yahoo Messenger at the same time.

also. open the DOWNLOADED version http://messenger.yahoo.com ….. and the web version….. http://jpager.yahoo.com/jpager/messenger.html on two different accounts…… not aliases.. ACCOUNTS.. not reliable. but can be done…I once read something that said you can run 2 copies of Messenger but as long as they are different versions and they are installed in separate folders.
I’ve never tried this though, but I use Yahelite along with Messenger to be in 2 (or more) rooms at the same time.
