i’d tend to think that the mods dont want the boards getting filled with a million topics like this, when there’s a site designed specifically for this purpose. just my guess.
That and the purpose of this forum is primarily to promote/troubleshoot and the like with IM’s, and while email is related, this obviously could be a very annoying, widespread topic, and there’s already a complete site devoted to what you’re talking about. It’s more appropriate. I mean, even SN swapping is annoying, and I’m sure the ONLY reason that is allowed is because it’s IM related.
There have been over at least 40 of threads asking for or giving away Gmail accounts. ‘Gmail Swap’ is especially designed for this purpose, BigBlueBall isn’t.
