Sandvine says Skype users account for 35.8% of individual VOIP callers on North American networks. Skype also accounts for 46.2% of all minutes used for VOIP in Northern America, and for 40% of the bandwidth. Sandvine also ranks North American VOIP operators on the number of paying customers. Skype leads the list with 1 mln customers paying for SkypeOut, Vonage is second with 500K, France Telecom is third with 330K, Italian FastWeb with 300K is fourth, CableVision with 189K customers is fifth and AT&T is #6 with 53K paying customers.
