Memberi think another thing thats new is also you can make the chat window like media player and chop the bit off at the top. I think i found a but with msn messenger 6.1.0155 when talking to people with emoticons in there names they dont appear, you just see the roar code for the emoticon and also whilst on another screen then u maximize that chat window back up it has scrolled to top agen? any ideas why?

MemberOK I’ve just downloaded MSN Messenger 6.1 and as far as I can tell, new features are as follows:
– Slight modification to the design of the toast pop-up notification windows.
– Ability to change conversation window colour.
– Ability to remove the frame from the conversation windows, the same as you can in Windows Media Player 9Aside from that, they are the only changes I know. There are probably minor bug fixes too.

KeymasterThe biggest bummer is that they made it more difficult for you to customize the tabs! The BigBlueBall MSN tab doesn’t work with 6.1 🙁

MSN Messenger 6.1 has totally disabled customized tabs, but there is a way to replace existing ones, only four customized tabs available which is not that great.
I am just going to stick with 6.0 until the day it is banned to login using 6.0, or maybe 6.2 will once again support customized tabs.;)

Remember that most important changes are invisible. For example, when there was only a beta version of 6.0 many people had problems with the client. Then, when when there was an official release, there were less problems with the client. Now, with MSN Messenger 6.1, there are not so many problems with the client at all. 🙂
