MemberI think you know about profiling ( I don’t now if we can name it so or not! ) : for example with one profile , I have 6 other IDs which when I come online with one of them ,the other 6s come online too . now I want to know if there is a way to understand 6 other IDs of one who uses this way!

MemberWhat exactly are you asking? Are you just asking if anyone else has 6 or are you asking how to not have them all come online?

MemberNo , I want to know if there is any way to find out that all these 7 IDs are for one profile!

MemberSomeone else may know otherwise, but I don’t think there is a way to tell, unless someone is keeping tabs of each one to see if they are coming online and offline at the same time. Of course, if they are in a position to be able to see the IP address……then yes, they could…but through normal messenger workings, I think not.

MemberSame answer as above ! If you are on somebody’s list with de name “foo” and you have another profile in the same account, let’s say “bar, everytime you log in and come into a room with “bar“, your friend will see that “foo” has just loggued in.
That friend won’t be able to follow you in a room, following your “foo‘ handle. I’ll get the message : “foo is not loggued in a chatroom”
If he sends you a IM, you’ll get it. And if you answer him, he’ll see that “foo” is answering and not “bar !
So you don’t have to worry !

MemberY!M provide another good option. If you have several handle with the same account and if you have many friends in your list, rigistered with different profiles, you can make some of your profiles invisible.
Let’s me be more precise:
foo —> Your yahoo ID
bar1 —> profile #1
bar2 —> profile #2
bar3 —> profile #3
….
bar6 —> profile #6You added a friend “lovedfriend providing the profile #1 (bar1). You have another “unwantedfriend” that you don’t want him to see you online. When you added him, you gave him your profile #6 (bar6)
When you login the Y!M, go to the “Login” menu and chose “My Profiles”. You’ll have the list of all your profiles, all are checked.
Simply uncheck the ones that you don’t want to appear online. In our example, you’ll uncheck the profile #6 (bar6). Then you strike “OK”
Everyone who knows you with “bar6” (like unwantedfriend) will see you offline while over profiles are online

MemberTo add a new profile to your main profile , you can go to login ==> My profiles and push Creat/Edit my profiles button and you can add 6 other IDs to your public profile. also you can edit or delete them whenever you want or replace other IDs to your profiles.I think it is a nice feature ! 🙂
