Hey..I’m having a bit of trouble with my Yahoo name in instant messenger. When I first registered, my name was “Briana Pepz” (don’t ask, lol). But I soon decided that I didn’t want that name to appear to my contacts when I sent them messages. I’ve managed to get my real name to appear in the “______ says: hi” bit, but when my contacts see “______ is typing a message”, it STILL turns out as “Briana Pepz”. I need to find a way to delete Briana Pepz forever =/
I’m sorry if this has already been posted. I looked in the FAQ. Please help!

Your contacts will see your original username in their conversation window unless they have your real name entered for your contact details on their computer.
So…Actions > Contact Options > Contact Details
In the ‘Name’ box, tell your contacts to put in the name you wish them to see.
