I wouldn’t mind seeing the Big Blue Ball come up with a messenger. i would join right away. Is this too big of a suggestion? I would think in no time it would be at the top of the game.
Although we do have brilliant minds here that can accomplish this task, unfortunately BigBlueBall doesn’t have the pre-existing userbase that other messengers have. Note that MSN, Yahoo, and AOL already have a very large userbase, and also offer other services. Google, well…Google is just Google. They’ll pull through.
Unless you’re talking about a multi-protocol instant messenger that can connect to existiing accounts on other networks? In that case, I like your suggestion. It would take a lot of planning and effort on many people’s parts, but I’m sure if a lot of people liked the idea, we could do it.
Interesting idea but…meh…there’s already so many messengers out there and frankly as far as multi-protocol instant messengers go, I think Trillian does a fantastic job. I don’t think it’s necessary.
yeah maybe your right MiamiGuy there are so many out there already, but you know what they say. Variety is the spice of life.
