FancyFrog just contacted me to say that she found herself with access to (at least some) STAFF ROOM posts!
Naturally there is stuff in there that should NEVER be accessible by non-staff, so she contacted whoever she could, which was… me !She said that a StaffRoom post by RabidKitten appeared in her “Today’s Posts”, and she was indeed able to view that post… then also others in StaffRoom.
Well, I’ve tried on a friend’s PC just now going to BBB (not logged in as anyone) and Today’s Posts. I could NOT see the offending item!
I also tried to find Staff Room. Again, I couldn’t. So all seems ok that *I* can see.But (unless FancyFrog specifically HAS been given special access, which SHE is quite unaware of) how come SHE could see this stuff ?
Further, I check how I see RabidKitten‘s last few posts.
As Eagle_Kiwi I see the last 3 as (times=PacificSummerTime, Apr10)
1:50am Introductions,
1:56am StaffRoom,
2:05am SiteNewsBut as “nobody” I just see 2 of those, NOT the Staff Room one.
And Fancy actually made a new BBB Id, just “frog” I think, and tried, and couldn’t see anything amiss there either.
So maybe, for SOME reason, it IS “just her” !?????Can any of you check this, AND close the loophole IF indeed you can find one ?
It’s fixed… thanks for notifying me.
For the record, the problem was related to this public usergroup test.
