Account unavailiable??

I didnt know where to post this but I have had problems with my messenger getting error messages but that seems to have worked itself out now and now I cannot acess my hotmail account since early saturday morning I keep getting this error message

This is an infrequent occurrence and we’re doing our best to get your account working again to provide the highly reliable service that is our goal. At this time, we do not have an estimated time of completion.

Is this a sever side issue is is this somthing to do directly with my own account ??? any help would be appreciated Thanks amber
