MemberSince there have been no replies here since my last post, is it safe to assume that this issue is not an issue anymore?

ParticipantI’d say it’s still an issue, IMO. Active Topics was more logical, useful and quicker. Besides, the post icons on the main page are too small to see when something is new or not.

MemberI think it’s still an issue DJ. I’ve not said anything else because I think it would just be repeating what I have previously said. That might be the same for others too.
I agree with Dave.

Please verify this for me. 🙂I can verify that, I’ve closed my browser accidently and came back to new posts with all the same topics.I think an “Active Topics” style would be nice but it’s far from neccessary in my opinion. To me the only thing lacking from New Posts is that the posts aren’t grouped together into seperate categories, but is it really that difficult to look in that last column to see where the post is? Not for me.

What exactly have we been talking about on IRC and what exactly have we talked about the numerous times you IM’d me with your concerns? Jeff and I have been listening Dave, just because we don’t immediatly do what you say doesn’t mean we aren’t listening.David wrote:Active Topics was more logical, useful and quicker. Participant*butts in really quick to say thank you for the new active/inactive icons even if they aren’t in use quite yet, just for something nice and congradualtory to say* They’re pretty…

MemberResults could atleast be sort by forums.
You only have to add a ‘order by’ clause in the search query of newposts page.

ParticipantI actually prefer New Posts to active topics now that I’ve gotten used to it. I love that I can accidently navigate away or even close my browser and still know which posts I’ve read and which I haven’t. If you grouped the new posts first by forum then most recent, it would be perfect.
