Hi,
I was told to use adware in safe mode that it would find more things hiding in my system so I did . It came up with a few things I am not sure what to do with.. If anyone sees this and knows if they are ok to delete I would appreciate the help ..
1. SahAgent
2. Tracking company
3. Clear Search
4. EUniverse
5. Favoriteman
6. Wild Tangent
7. Ezula
8. Net PalIf I need these or if these are of importance, I would appreciate someone telling me so I don’t delete them
Thank you

You should delete Favorite man.
I don’t know what “Tracking company” is. It could be spyware; since it has the word “tracking” in it. I’m not sure if ad-aware is supposed to find spyware though.
I know that “Wildtangent” is a plugin or something that you have to have to play games on this website. My Spyware blaster claimed it to be spyware; you might wanna delete it.
Ezula looks like a bunch of crap to me. You could delete that.
I think Net Pal is some kind of internet phone service. I dunno about that.
I’m not sure what “Clear search” is. It could be a internet toolbar you have. If you don’t need it, just delete it.
eUniverse I think is just adware crap. You could probably delete that.
‘Hope that helps. 🙂

June 25, 2004 at 4:58 am #43032lazyturboMemberMeh…I would just delete them all, they all seem to be some sort of spyware.
Their not anything that came with Windows in the first place, so its safe to let them go.
June 25, 2004 at 5:38 am #43029detn8rParticipantSpyware is not important. Some spyware cleaners include captions about the scum ware to give you an idea of its wrath. You are the judge here. Just keep in mind: if you chose to download the program to remove it, why debate whether or not it should be removed?
Keep your cleaner up to date, and listen to what it says. Trust in it. It will only help you in the end.
June 25, 2004 at 6:04 am #43033f0rbezMemberIn some cases though, other software relies on these ad display components and if theyre gone the software will fail to load. I’d first check your Add/Remove Programs list in your control panel and see if any of them have uninstallers. If not then just delete the spywares with ad-aware but be prepared to have to reinstall or stop using programs that rely on them.
edit: Just want to make it clear that no, these components are not needed by windows, only other 3rd party software that you may have installed.
June 26, 2004 at 1:00 am #43028Jeff HesterKeymasterThank you every one your reponses were very helpful.. detn8r, I asked because I could be totally wrong on this but don’t some things you download share files with other things you have on your computer and if you get rid of some of them you might interfer with something you need or use all the time. That is why I asked others who might know more about these files then I do.

98% of the time, the crap cleaners pick up is unwanted. The other 2% is so unlikely that it is wanted that it’s like winning the lottery. (low chances)
But EVEN IF what ever prog. you use to delete the spyware removes something that causes an application to not work correctly, reinstall it, and ignore those warnings on the cleaner the next time.June 29, 2004 at 8:02 pm #43036love_docter14Membertell you the best thign to do is go to http://www.downloads.com and get spybot and will find all ad wear and spy wear and remove if form your computer if you never used something like that you might me shackin at what it can and will find on your come puter..it tells you where it was fond and everything its good..
