I have tried using the “aim:addbuddy?screenname=screen+name” command and tried putting “+1_ _ _ – _ _ _ _” as the screen name. No luck, it comes up with an error message.
Has anyone figured out the command to add a mobile buddy? It should open this window, with a specified phone number if done right:

i’m not really sure how the whole mobile buddy thing works, but from that picture it says “Do not enter 1 or the country code before the number” and in your post you have a +1 right in front of where the number will go… if that makes a difference… otherwise i dont know
Yeah, because when you do add a mobile buddy using that window, for the name that you input, on your buddy list it will say “Bob” in quotes like that, with a mobile icon. When you double click “Bob” to text message him, in the IM box it has “+1_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _” And I thought by doing that for the add-buddy command it would work. But it doesn’t.
