Adding pictures to yahoo profiles

Hi everyone…I am new to this forum and am looking for some help please…….I have always been able to add pictures to my yahoo profile….jpeg as well as gifs…..then I believe yahoo changed something .so I had to add my pictures to my briefcase..then upload to my profile that way…..it still worked fine…my gifs were still animated……….but now, seems my friends and I are even having trouble adding jpegs to our profiles….we are all getting a red X and no picture…….

My question is this……is there still a way to add jpegs to your profile???………..Is there a way to add gifs to your profile???….if so, may I have step by step instructions as to how to do this so I can pass it on to my friends……….(some of us are puter dummies..hahahaa)……..Im not sure why they wont work anymore….maybe yahoo is making more changes??…..

I know yahoo changed it policy on gifs I think it was an issue with bandwith not really sure .
