Adding song to your Yahoo Mess ID

Hey guys!
I have asked a similar question on MSN board regarding my msn messenger,about adding winamp song to msn nickname.
Anyway just wondering if its possible to do the same with Yahoo Mess? how i can add music to my yahoo mess ID. Like.. (Yahoo ID) ~ listening to (name of song)

send a message to this user dev_hawk (yahoo id)
he can tell you how to do it, he has to plug in, i totally forgot how to do it, and when he answers ya can you refresh my memory??? thanks

Well i really hate to bother this person, by sending a yahoo message, regarding my problem, so i will wait til someone else comes along and can answer my question.

Here is a Winamp plugin claiming to change your Status message to the current Winamp Song.
Winamp Yahoo PlugIn – I haven’t tried it, and it does not say whether or not it is compatible with Winamp 3 or not, so no guarantees.

Let me know if it works for you.

If the one Shifter gave you doesn’t work, let me know. I’ve got one that I’ve used. It works like a charm and it’s kinda cool. You’ll get a lot of IMs from friends wanting to know “how did you do that!??” 🙂

Sorry shifter that one didnt work. I guess it’s not compatible with Winamp 3, oh well! Thanx though.

Dern it..lol. i really want to get it now too, nothing works very well with winamp3 anymore….have you tried the vizualizations with winamp? you can make your desktop back ground change colors to the beat of the song…its pretty cool…(only i think it only works with winamp2..anywho, lemme know if you get the site for the plug in before i get a chance to come back my s/n is spank_my_wranglers

hi jeff.

i have tried using songstat .. it worked fine till yahoo got disconected once. both plugin & winamp were running when yahoo discontd.
now when i m trying to login yahoo again it is not able to do so.
it stays tring to login but cant do it successfully. i have tried login with another user and it is working fine.
but what has happnd after it disconectd when i was using songstat ??
i dont have any idea what has gone wrong here ..

also if there is any other plugin for showing winamp song as yahoo status then give that too.

help here will be appreciated.
