when you add a contact to your yahoo address book there is an option to also add them to your messenger list (if you know their yahoo id)
hmm think I said it wrong sry….
try this again…
if I add you to my messenger and your not online.. can you accept it without being on the messenger or do you have to be loged in to it?
He told me that you can do it while checking your yahoo email and not have to sign on to messenger…
Someone can add you to their messenger list whilst you are offline, and Yahoo sends you a permission request, which you will receive whenever you next log in. Obviously you can accept or refuse this, if you refuse, you will be removed from the other person’s contact list.
As for the email thing, people can only send you a request to install Yahoo Messenger through email.
