Never knowing for sure who or how old a person you are chatting with, role playing etc. other than the fact they tell you they are adult, are chatters considered relatively ok as long as they believe in good faith they are talking with an adult and keep the conversation legal yet still of an adult or erotic nature? Obviously most people chat with complete strangers and cam as well the majority of the time under the premise that the person on the other end is an adult and wishes to chat or cam. What are your thoughts on feeling relatively ok with your adult chat/cam?
I think so much of it is caution. I would ask for proof of age, i.e. check the web cam. If they look too young then changes are they probably are. Also, have them type out that they are in fact of x age, and save this. Not that these can’t be made up anyway, but I guess the key is cover your butt.
However I guess if you’re even in an area where younger children hang out, chances are they are too young anyway.
See I am 56 years old man and i must have serious chat with some
adult peoples, but the problems that how i recognize the one is chatting
is near about my age.I’d do what Netti suggested, just don’t do things on webcam unless the other person has a cam too. Plus the way of talking can reveal the person’s age.
If you are not sure if somebody is really old enough, ask questions a 15 year-old (for example) would most probably not be able to answer.
If you still don’t feel comfy with it, follow Jeff’s advise 😉I fugure it like this, if the person doesan’t have the brain’s to fill out there profile then they must be a child and i don’t have time for them. Simply put, no profile, no cam, no chat.
If we lived in a perfect world things like filling out profiles and just coming out and asking would work but well we dont. I have seen many profiles and talked to many people and well people lie a lot. being behind the closed door of the net it makes it easy to be something or someone your not and how do we know? well we either use good judgement or become trusting and take people at their word. I usually take things slow and allow conversation be the main tool and get to know someone before talk gets to an adult (personal level). one good rule to live by here on the net is, Those who rush and pressure usually have more to hide then those who are willing to take their time to get to know you. Take things slow there is more to life then knowing what color undergarment someone is wearing.

You Should Never Start a adult orientated conversation with a stranger, you should get to know the person, talk to them, have clean cut coversation, you will usually be able to pick up a kid by how they carry on, they get bored quickly, talk about the old times, leaving little questions perhaps to make sure they are as old as they let on to be.
When chatting to people in yahoo never take a profil for face value as it can be fake or true so never get your hopes up about profile pictures.
You’re an adult you will know when you’re dealing with an adult in most case’s and if you see a person under the age of 18 report their username to yahoo! as it’s a breach of their TOS.
Yahoo has some age orientated rooms available that you can try.
30’s:1,2,3,4…etc
40’s:1,2,3,4…etc
50’s:1,2,3,4…etcPerhaps try to stay in them sort of room’s.
Always be weary of who you chat to online, time always tell’s.
