after closing MIE

When I close Microsoft Internet Explorer, there is a pop-up thing. It’s usually something about screensavers or something of the sort. I have a pop-up blocker (MSN) but it still comes up. Any ideas what might be causing it and how I can stop it from coming up? It’s not a really big problem, but it’s kinda annoying.

It could be adware. Did you try scanning with Spybot or Ad-aware?

Yes, I ran SBSD and it still comes up almost everytime I close MIE.

Hmm.. Try using Ad-Aware then. If its the same story with that maybe try another pop-up blocker like Google ToolBar, Or Yahoo toolBar. Otherwise I’m really not sure… Hopefully that works.
