im sorry, I was on vacation and when I came back, this wasnt on the new posts so I havent looked at it until now when I searched for aimres.dll. o well. anyways, I wanted for when you sign on, the picture would be smaller, and there would be no leftover space. any ideas? (or you could completly get rid of it without the leftover space) and any other tricks you know of using reshacker and aimres.dll would be greatly appreciated. my site has not been updated for a while, as I had computer problems with my frontpage express. ready to update again though.

hey! version 2.3 is out, although the sign on screen is a little messed up, ill fix that tomorrow. ill get screen shots up soon!
EDIT: screen shots are up!
EDIT: 2.31 is now out. it just fixes a thing on the sign on screen that was a little messed up. Enjoy!

Does your installer get rid of Viewpoint, WildTangent, and all that other junk? If I use your installer would those things get installed or do I still need to manually get rid of them?

My suggestion to you is slimming down the menus. Not vertically, but horizontally. Mine goes no farther than the end of the BL. Another suggestion is changing the URL in your sig. it leads to

I wrote alot so i’ll put them to bullet point

– Web page wise, add more screenshots,
– Your opening picture doesn’t work (you need to upload to the internet [http://www.clausercorp.com/uploader%5D thats what I use.)
– Add a change log, maybe a features list. Because I wouldn’t download it just because I see three pictures and it says it has no ads and such. the more you elaborate, the more people who will download it.
– The screenshots should be a bit more professionsl if you ask me. [http://www.socomusic.com/macHelp/themes/macscreenshots.htm%5D look at the Buddy list. Make it look like that, not some scribbled over screenshot of people who have yellow dots next to them and one with red. you dont even say what they mean
– Did you change the sign-on screen? if so, show that.
– notifications are ****ed up in 3595, It gets confusing. but if you actaully did change them, upload a picture.
– Maybe you should edit the menu in the IM window. Because it seems like you just changed the buddy list. and the buddy list isn’t the only thing AIM is for.
– When you DC, you’ll have nothing down there, and you wont be able to see the progress of what your sending. so putting in a shorter send button will make your progress bar visible, but not your buddy
– Quick question: have you ever testing linked s/ns with your AIMRes? If not, try it out.
– One last thing: There are more editable files than just AIMRes.dll *hint: colors are fun*

I’ll suggest some more later. Wow, I know. I’m always willing to help out fellow AIM modders.

EDIT: I updated the site…well not really too much, just added a couple of stuff. The screenshots are a little better. If something on the site is a little messed up, press refresh. im updating often
EDIT: No, linked sns will NOT work with this file
EDIT: version 1.1 (ive restarted at 1.0) is out, I have shortened the IM menus! see the features section
EDIT: im thinking about getting a site redirection thing for my site. anyone know of a good FREE one?

I think he uses Middle_man. But I dont see why it wouldn’t be able to work with dead-aim.
