Ok, i’ve been using AIM 6.0 for a few weeks now and no problems. Just randomly the other day I lost my internet connection and then when i regained it AIM 6.0 would not sign on. AIm 5.9 allows me to log on but AIM 6.0 wont.
It will load, but when i go to click on Sign On, nothing happens.
I uninstalled AIM 6.0 and reinstalled it, and it still wont let me log in.
I restored my PC to a date when I knew that it was working, it still wont let me log in.
I’ve done noting to “cause” it to do this I dont know why it wont work!?!?
any help!?!?!
fixexd it. ..
i dunno i uninstalled it again, and choose to “remove all settings user name and passwords” .. and then it worked randomly a few hours later. . .

found the error,
in the settings i had my AIM logs to be saved onto my external hard drive F:/
When i turned the drive off, you CANT log in. (i lent my friend the drive for a like 3 days that is why i couldn’t log on for 3 days).
Well when its not connected u cant even get into the settings to change the directory where the IM logs goto. So if you mkae that drive save to the local HD you wont have a problem, but still i figured out the problem. .
