AIM Ad

I know that you’ve probably heard this question before, and just to let everyone know i already searched the forum but couldnt find an answer to this; Is there any way to remove the grey space where the Ad use to be on AIM 5.2.3292? I cant use AIM 5.5.3415 because for some reason my messages to other people with previous versions arent being recieved. Can anyone please help me? Thanks!:)

How did you end up with a grey space with no ad? Did you use DeadAIM and it didn’t get rid of the space?

I used ResHacker to remove the advertisement banner, but there is still a grey space there, but only when i put up an away message. When the away message isnt up its fine, but when i put an away message up a grey or blank space appears ( i forgot to mention that earlier).:p
