Does anyone know how to edit the text that is inside the bottom box of the Away message dialog when someone leaves you a message.
If that made no sense, I mean when someone IMs you while you’re away, it used to say who it was from and how many they left, now on 5.5 it says: ThePersonsScreenNameHere: (for YourScreenNameHere) # of IMs last one at (time here)
I just want to see who it’s from, how many messages, and at what time.
Any help would be fantastic.:D
Use reshack to edit the dialog. Im pretty sure this will work.

as far as I can tell, its not any one particular string or command that creates that line. i’m pretty sure it’s drawn from a few different sources, and I cant pinpoint which one at the moment. i’ll look a little more when I get some time, but aim uses the same %s and &n for a lot of things, so it might be impossible.

I don’t want to edit the dialog. I want to edit the text that is created within the dialog when I receive a message.
Yes it’s static, meaning something else in AIM produces the text that goes into the dialog, and you can’t edit the dialog itself, you must edit something else.
