ok, i’m doing a community service for all the AIM users out there. After being told this was a great idea i want EVERYONE, and i cant stress that anough to submit all the AIM chat rooms that are used (chats with ppl in them) and AOL DOSENT name. i only know a few from the top of my head. If list becomes long enough, than i really think it should be put in the AOL instant messenger part of this site for all the AIM users to see and know about.
I urge everyone that knows of any AIM Chat room not mentioned anywhere to mention them here.
A note to users:
If you access user made chats (chats not on the aim chat room page) you must access them with extension 4, not 5. Extension 5 is what AOL uses for their chats, and normal users that make personal ones use four. So for example, you try and access the popular chat (it is) neopets and you put in this aim:GoChat?RoomName=neopets&Exchange=5 there wont be anyone there. You must have the right exchange
aim:GoChat?RoomName=neopets&Exchange=4

Chat: aim:GoChat?RoomName=chat&Exchange=4
Chat1: aim:GoChat?RoomName=Chat1&Exchange=4
Chat2: aim:GoChat?RoomName=Chat2&Exchange=4

Neopets: aim:GoChat?RoomName=neopets&Exchange=4
r00m: aim:GoChat?RoomName=r00m&Exchange=4
room: aim:GoChat?RoomName=room&Exchange=4
Outwar: aim:GoChat?RoomName=outwar&Exchange=4Just copy and paste the “aim:GoChat?RoomName=Chat2&Exchange=4” into your browser and click go, it should open a chat room if ur signed in.
Also, many of these chats are owned by AOL people with programs that can auto ban. Many others are full because they are filled with bots. You will need a make a MAC sn to get around these problems, as with a mac sn you cant be banned, and you can get into full chats if ur sn if formatted right.
Is that it? i know there are way more AIM chat rooms than that. Everyone please submit chat rooms you know about for AIM soo that everyone can benefit from them, and we arent in the dark cause AOL users get to have all the chat room fun

I have close to 100 active chats on AIM that have real people, and real users in them.. check it out when you give it a chance and bump it up on other forums for people to find it
