Hello,
I created a chatroom link with the following code: Chatroom!
But if I have trillian open, it doesn’t work.
Is there anyway to adjust this for trillian?
I’ve searched the forums but can’t find anything.
Thanks!
[Edit]: Topic is related to Trillian and not to AIM. Topic was moved.
Well I’ve never tried this myself so I don’t know if it works with the type of links you’re describing, but the closest thing is url:im. Give that a try and post back with your results 🙂
i’m not sure what yours does other than open up a website.
The purpose of the link i created, was to open up a AIM chatroom named whatever I wanted it to be named.
If you have this code in your webpage and you click on it, it will call up AIM. If you are already on AIM, it will open up the chatroom window which in this case would be called “Chatroom Name” (for example purposes)
However, if I have trillian open, that link does not open anything.
-thanks
url:IM is a plugin for Trillian Pro which allows you to use send message links for AIM and Yahoo. ICQ and MSN are in the works. I don’t think url:IM supports aim:gochat yet, but if you want it go to url:IM’s web page and request it!
