AIM connection problems (AOL support is transparen

hi,

I have been having problems connecting to AIM for the past day. It says, “You have attempted to login too often in a short period of time. Wait a few minutes before trying to login again.” So I’ve waited 20min, an hour, 2 hours, even overnight, and it still gave me the same problem.

I tried from different computers over different networks, even through AIM Express, and had the same problem.

I contacted tech support and online help several times, but got the same response, “go to http://www.aim.com” but on that site it only says “wait, and if it still happens submit a bug report” But submitting a bug report will not fix the problem.

Can anyone offer any support? Even if I can get my buddy list off the AIM servers I will be fine.

Which version of AIM are you using?

I’m using the latest version of iChat, but it’s been happening on PCs and AIM express too.
