hey guys, i am sorry to say but i feel AIM is just a waste of time. instant messenging programs have been my #1 type of programs for years but lately there has just been so much glitches i feel AIM is just CRAP now. it sucks, its glitchy, it freezes on most computers, itll kick u off randomly, and with programs such as AIM invader, who would trust aim being safe. its redicolous how many programs there are out there just to do harmful things to other users. IT DISGUSTS ME AND I FEEL someone should make a new instant messenger and set down some precedents that all instant messenger should have!!!!!!
i dont hate aim at all…if you dont like it then there are atleast 7(that i know of) other istant messenging programs you switch to.
Yeah AIM is a problem nowadays. I have a lot of pals on the AIM network though, so I can’t afford to kill it just yet.
I use GAIM to access the AIM network, and since its all new code, its a whole lot less vulnerable to those things going around on AIM these days. (Or at least its been that way for me, and I’ve had GAIM for a good year or two now and I’ve never had a single problem.)
Try it, you might find it better than spywared AIM.
