I think I already know the answer, but is there anyway to get rid of the AIM icon in the bottom left corner of the windows task abr at the bottom of the computer screen. Is there any files I can edit with reshack or anything?
thanks
matt
you cant get rid of the space. and even if you did you’d never be able to exit AIM. You can change the picture with reshack though.
do u know the location of the pic to change it with reshack with reshack?
i assume I would be editting aimres.dll, but where to after that?
I am not sure if this will work, but it is worth a try. You most likely have WinXp so I will give instructions for that:
Right click on your task bar>>properties>>taskbar tab>>customize>>scroll down until you find the AOL man>>click on the behavior nest to him on the right>>scroll down and change to “always hide”
yea ive done that already but I was jsut wonderin if there was a way to completely remove it from the taskbar
