AIM keeps reconnecting?!

my aim keeps reconnecting like every 10 minutes and sometimes less does anyone know why this is happening and what i can do to fix this problem i know its not my isp or my connection bcuz i just downloaded gaim and its fine and stays connected i would keep using it but i cant open i direct im or do a file transfer with anyone on aim can someone help , it would be much appreshiated

i am using a router and linksys… i have the ports forwarded and it only happens when I clone an aim s/n

i dont even have to clone mine and it keeps reconnecting… : / downloaded gaim and that stays connected but i cant direct connect or do a file transfer with anyone on my b list
