When u start up AIM and u HAVENT logged in yet ur just looking for ur screen name, how do u take ur name of the list?
I dont want to close my acount i just want to get on without ppl knowing hehehehe:D

Scroll to your name on the list, press the “delete” button, then click “yes”.

Hover over your name in the list and press the DELETE key, this should remove it from the drop down menu, note that this will remove your profile from the local machine too.
