i dont have it checked, so it shouldnt start up everytime, but for some reason it does, dont know why?????
open yahoo go to messenger, then a drop down box should pop up go 2 preferences,
click general, then untick automatically start messenger
or go 2 start then run then type in mscongfig then u have the system configuration box click startup on top which shows the programes you have running in the background, go 2 were yahoo or (ypager it may read) is untick the box click on apply cose an exit you may be asked 2 reboot do so an this should clear up your problem hope it helps@u2ri: The OP is using AIM, not Yahoo.
Try running MsConfig by selecting Start>Run>and typing msconfig. Select the Startup tab. You can disable any AIM startup keys there.
