Ever since I have gone from my old PC [WIN ME] to my new PC [Win XP], AIM at random times will stop responding. Sometimes ill be typing a message to someone and it will just stop responding forcing me to go into CTRL ALT DEL and end AIM.EXE. or sometimes i will double click the logo on bottom right and it doesnt come up which is when i have to use ctrl alt del again. This is the most frustrating thing. I thought i read somewhere it was because of networking issues but now I am wired via ethernet and my internet is at top performance. The problem continues….PLEASE someone help me it is driving me CRAZY!!!
PS. I have tryed uninstalling and reinstalling.

October 18, 2005 at 5:36 am #131659Larry317MemberI would be curious of the results… I have had the same problem now for awhile… I haven’t been able to resolve this though… One thing I think may be causing this for me, but I can’t confirm is that other buddies AIM sounds, could be freezing AIM… I am not sure, but I think this may be my problem (running XP Pro). It is an issue I have also on my wife’s computer and I think we have one buddy that uses an expression sound that could be the culprit… Just reset my settings for this so hopefully it could resolve the problem for me… Will post any results in about 24-48 hours as I should freeze within that time if not sooner…
