AIM taskbar

Recently I had an virus, and had to install windows 98 from fresh. Well now whenever I open my computer the aim icon on the taskbar disappears. Any suggestion how to get that to stay there? Before I had no problem, the problem started after installing windows 98 from fresh.

In the AIM Preferences go to the Sign On/Off Category. Check Start AIM When Windows Starts. Click Ok.
If for some reason that does not work, click Start -> Run. Type in msconfig. Click the Startup tab then check aim. Then click Ok.
