Umm i searched around the internet couldn’t find one for the latest version I guess they changed the code around or something. But anyways I wipped a little fix up which i think worked? i dont know i havent seen an add in awhile……..dont know if anyone else released a fix yet but anyways thank me later…..

for me it was located at C:program filescommon filesAOL1121478782eeservicesimAppver0_3_19contentprefs
its the .box file in that folder… “prefsContainer.box”
So i think you can figure out which line i changed haha just ad that extra line in and change the preferences in aim and ur good to go …. like the other guy said make sure u open and save it in wordpad not notepad…enjoy no ads i hate ads spammers im spam u know the works….
I forget who fixed the earlier version of this but that put me on to going about a fix for this one. It was rather simple just add another option other than the ones provided and if u chose it the other two real ad choices aren’t picked. Im sure aol will pick this up in newer versions…either way credit goes to that other guy for the previous version fix …kudos to him!

no idea i thought i got the latest one ? ill go download it and try
….5 mins later….so yeah i went to the site and i couldnt find where to download 0.3.20 …i just downloaded the aim beta last night and it wasnt updated since then ….i think the only way u can get the 0.3.20 is if u upgrade from beta 2 with their delivery service but i could be wrong…. in all likelyhood the little trick should still work if not send me a copy of that one box file and maybe ill think of something
You have to get the update through the active update bs http://beta.aol.com/projects/tritonsuds/. It downloads in the background and when it gets done downloading the new files it will tell you and ask to install it.http://messageboards.aol.com/aol/en_us/articles.php?boardId=553165&func=3&channel=People%20Connection for more info. People have a problem with active updates. Best thing to do is make sure have notifications on and just leave it triton on all the time till you get it.
hasnt downloaded for me yet, maybe bc of my router i dunno…if it does download ill try the ad hack out
I posted basically te same thing, its about two pages down. It doesnt work with 0.3.2.0. But I’m making one that does. (If you use the one here, the ads will show anyway)
