MemberI looked, but I couldn’t find anything to help me, so if the answer is there, please direct me to it 🙂
AIM has been wanting to upgrade to the newest version, and since I like the version I’m at right now, I’d perfer to stay. Is there any way to turn off the auto upgrade request whenever I first log on to AIM?
Thanks in advance!

MemberI have noticed that sometimes when you click the no button, it will ask if you want to remind you again and there is an option saying something like “Do Not Remind Me” or “Never”… been awhile since I’ve used an old version so I dont quite remember, I think I last saw that in either 4.8 or 4.7

MemberNo, it doesn’t ask me if I want to be bothered by it again. :/
I am running 5.2.3074.
Thanks for your reply.

MemberSorry.. I just figured out they disabled it in version 5. I checked again and that feature does exist in 4.8.
I don’t see why you wouldnt upgrade to 5.2.3292 it is pretty much the same as 5.2.3074 and it wont ask you to upgrade.
Or maybe somebody else has a fix.

Membermy aim > edit options > edit preferences > go to the sign on/off category > near the center it says “auto upgrade” and change that setting to final release (this should fix your problem until aim finally release another final version, which will be in maybe 852862782357 years)

He says he is using 5.2.3074 which is not the current final release (5.2.3292) so that will not work unless he does upgrade to the current final release.
