The AIM icon isn’t appearing in the bar at the bottom right hand of my screen, and when I click the AIM icon on my desktop, nothing happens. This has never happened to me before. Why is this happening, and how do I fix it?
Make sure aim.exe isn’t running in task manager. If it is, hit ctrl+alt+del and click on the processes, then right click on aim.exe and click “end task”. Then download and run this little thing: http://jon8rfc.homeip.net/aim/other/aim_default_fix.reg
Right-click on the download and click “save target as” and save to your desktop, then double-click it once it’s been saved and click “yes” when it asks you to add to the registry.
