hey i downloaded the AIM program, but it wont let me install.. anyone know y? i unzipped it and tried installing after closing my AIM program but it still wouldnt work
I assume you mean you’re having problems installing AIMutation and not AIM, right?
First, make sure you’re running AIM 5.1 for Windows. AIMutation won’t work on other operating systems.
Second, were there any specific error messages when you installed AIMutation, or did it appear to install correctly? If it was successfully installed, you’ll see an uninstall option under Start > Programs > 545 Studios > AIMutation. If not, try reinstalling.
Finally, check the new AIMutation web site for more help. They have a discussion forum, but I’m not sure what level of support you’ll get. AIMutation is a free program, but 545 Studios provides support only to paid subscribers. But heck, it’s worth a shot. I would expect that they’ll at least help you get it installed.
