I was just wondering if anyone who uses the skin program has had problems with their AIM since they installed it.
I installed it, and I kept getting errors ( Silly of me:D.. I never wrote down exatly what they said ), then it would cause me to close down my AIM and restart it, if it would let me without a reboot.
Since then I removed the program, and have not had any problems at all. I really liked the program tho, its a lot nicer than AIM Expressions, I was just wondering if anyone else experienced the problem of AIM shutting itself down after installing Aimutation.:confused:
They have recently came out with a new version. You might try installing the new .31beta. Also, you might want to check out their forums for other users postings that maybe getting the same error as you. Chances are you will find an AIMutation solution on the AIMutation website.
I checked their Forums for Aimutation.com… I didn’t see any similar problems, but I didn’t try to post anything because I was under the impression that you had to register to 545 studios to use their technical support, I’ll keep checkin back over there tho, Thanks Tracer
I’ve been running AIMutation .2b on one of my computers with no problems or error messages at all. Are you running any other AIM add-ons?
Nope Jeff, I installed AIM 5.1.3036 after I did a format of my computer. The only thing that I installed was the .2b Aimutation, and thats when it just decided to give me a pop up that forced me to close AIM. It happened most when i was sending an IM to someone.
I installed .3b tonight, and so far so good.. Hopefully I’ll be alright now
